About this job
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare patients, equipment and required supplies before procedures.
- Assist cardiologists and Cath Lab team during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
- Monitor patients continuously and promptly report any abnormal findings.
- Administer medications and contrast media as ordered and observe for adverse reactions.
- Maintain accurate nursing records, procedure documentation and medication charts.
- Provide post-procedure care and monitor for complications.
- Maintain infection control, radiation safety and patient safety standards.
- Ensure readiness of emergency equipment, crash cart and essential medications.
- Maintain adequate stock of Cath Lab consumables and report shortages.
- Follow NABH policies, hospital protocols and departmental SOPs.
Education
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Experience
- 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Experience in Cath Lab / Cardiology
