Psychologist

Krishna Nursing Home is looking for a qualified and compassionate Psychologist to join our mental healthcare team. The candidate will be responsible for conducting psychological assessments, providing counselling and psychological interventions, and supporting patients with mental health conditions. The selected candidate will work closely with psychiatrists, psychiatric social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations of patients.
• Provide individual counselling and psychological support.
• Administer and interpret psychological tests, as appropriate to qualifications and competence.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans in coordination with the clinical team.
• Conduct family counselling and psychoeducation sessions.
• Monitor patients' psychological progress and maintain accurate clinical records.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies and professional ethical standards.
• Coordinate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to support patient recovery and rehabilitation.

Educational Qualification

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology is mandatory.
• Additional training or certification in counselling or clinical psychology is preferred.

Experience

• Freshers are welcome to apply if they meet the required qualifications.
• Experience in psychiatric hospitals, mental health centres, or rehabilitation facilities is an added advantage.
