NAPS Apprentice Trainee – Production Department

Job Description / Responsibilities

• Assist in production line activities such as material feeding, machine operation, and product handling.
• Support process monitoring to ensure smooth flow of production and maintain quality standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions as guided by supervisors.
• Participate in daily production activities — sorting, inspection, packing, and labeling.
• Ensure proper safety compliance in the work area.
• Help in maintaining production records, data entry, and reporting of daily output.
• Learn and develop skills related to manufacturing operations, tools handling, and machine maintenance basics.
• Work in coordination with team members and shift in-charges for achieving production targets.

Eligibility

• Qualification: BE / B.Tech Mechanical (as per NAPS guidelines)
• Age: As per Apprenticeship Act norms
• Experience: 0 to 3 years (Freshers preferred)

Skills Required

• Basic understanding of manufacturing / production process
• Willingness to learn and adapt to shop floor activities
• Good team coordination and discipline
• Ability to work in shift system
