Job Description: Recruitment Specialist – Health Insurance Agency Development Job Title: Recruitment Specialist Industry: Health Insurance Location: Pune, Maharashtra (Recruitment across Maharashtra) Employment Type: Full-Time Working Style: Flexible Working Hours | Field Visits | Networking About the Role We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated, and result-oriented Recruitment Specialist to expand our health insurance agency network across Pune and Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying, approaching, recruiting, and onboarding individuals who are interested in becoming Health Insurance Advisors/Agents. This role is best suited for someone who enjoys meeting new people, building professional networks, exploring new recruitment channels, and achieving monthly recruitment targets. Key Responsibilities - Recruit eligible candidates for Health Insurance Advisor/Agent positions and achieve assigned monthly recruitment targets. - Identify and approach IRDAI exam-qualified candidates, including individuals who have worked with or are associated with life insurance companies. - Connect with existing life insurance agents, insurance advisors, POSPs, travel agents, and other professionals across Pune and Maharashtra. - Identify individuals interested in starting a career or additional income opportunity in the health insurance industry. - Explore innovative recruitment methods through networking, field visits, referrals, social media, online platforms, and local business communities. - Conduct meetings with prospective candidates, explain the health insurance agency opportunity, and guide them through the onboarding process. - Maintain a database of prospective candidates, follow up regularly, and track recruitment progress. - Coordinate documentation, eligibility checks, training, and onboarding of selected candidates. - Submit regular recruitment performance reports and ensure achievement of monthly targets. Candidate Requirements - Experience in recruitment, sales, business development, insurance agency development, or field marketing will be an advantage. - Knowledge of the insurance industry and IRDAI agent examination or licensing requirements is preferred. - Strong communication, convincing, networking, and relationship-building skills. - Willingness to travel across Pune and other parts of Maharashtra as required. - A proactive attitude towards finding candidates through both traditional and innovative recruitment methods. - Comfortable meeting new people and working independently with minimal supervision. - Target-oriented, disciplined, self-motivated, and focused on results. - Basic computer and smartphone skills for maintaining recruitment records and communicating with candidates.
