Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and organized Storekeeper for a restaurant in Lower Parel, Mumbai. The candidate should have experience in inventory management, stock control, and supplier coordination, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily inventory and maintain accurate stock records.

Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of supplies.

Coordinate with suppliers for orders, deliveries, and pending items.

Receive and inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and freshness.

Maintain Goods Received Notes (GRNs), purchase records, and stock registers.

Follow FIFO/FEFO methods for proper stock rotation and expiry management.

Conduct regular physical stock verification and report discrepancies.

Coordinate with the kitchen team and restaurant management regarding stock requirements.

Minimize wastage and ensure proper storage of food items and other supplies.

Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and proper organization of the storeroom.

Required Skills

Experience in restaurant or hotel inventory management.

Good knowledge of supplier coordination and purchase procedures.

Understanding of FIFO/FEFO, GRN, and stock reconciliation.

Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Excel or inventory software preferred.

Qualifications

Graduate candidates preferred.

Prior experience as a Storekeeper, Store Executive, or Inventory Controller in a restaurant or hotel will be an advantage.
