Lab Technician

• To be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pathology department or laboratory. This includes managing staff, scheduling, and ensuring that all activities are carried out efficiently and effectively.
• Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all tests and procedures performed in the pathology department is paramount.
• The Pathology In Charge is often tasked with implementing and maintaining quality control measures to uphold high standards of accuracy and precision.
• Developing and implementing protocols and procedures for various pathological tests and analyses.
• Providing training and continuing education opportunities for pathology staff to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest techniques, protocols, and technologies in the field.
• Collaborating with other departments within the healthcare facility, such as clinical departments and administrative staff, to ensure seamless coordination of patient care and efficient workflow.
