JOB ROLE : SITE ENGINEER - CIVIL Experience: 5 Years to 10 Years Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Projects / Construction Location: Siruseri, Chennai Additional Requirement: Candidate must possess a two-wheeler and a valid driving licence for site visits. JOB SUMMARY: We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Site Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction and site execution. The candidate will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, ensuring work quality, monitoring project progress, coordinating with subcontractors and consultants, and completing work as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and project schedules. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and monitor day-to-day construction activities at the project site. Ensure execution of work as per approved drawings, specifications and project requirements. Coordinate with project managers, architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors. Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and other resources. Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned activities. Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures. Prepare daily progress reports, site records, measurements, and material consumption reports. Coordinate material requirements and follow up on timely delivery to the site. Identify site issues and resolve technical problems in coordination with the project team. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at the site. Maintain as-built drawings, inspection reports, and other project-related documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil construction and site execution. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, drawings, and specifications. Familiarity with quality control procedures and construction safety practices. Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Ability to manage site teams and work under project deadlines.
