Technical Engineer – Tenders & Site Execution Department: Projects & Business Development Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh (Base Location) Coverage Area: Local (Indore, Pithampur, Dewas) & Pan-India (Travel as required) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description (JD) Role Summary We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on Technical Engineer / Manager to bridge the gap between tendering, client technical discussions, and on-ground execution. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting pre-bid site visits, assessing tender technical specifications, interacting with client engineering teams, and monitoring local and outstation project executions. Key Responsibilities 1. Pre-Bid & Tender Technical Assessment Perform technical evaluation of government and private tender documents, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and specifications. Conduct detailed pre-bid site inspections across various cities and industrial zones (Indore, Pithampur, Dewas, and outstation) to assess site readiness, scope of work, local constraints, and execution feasibility. Coordinate with internal tendering teams to prepare technical bids, compliance sheets, and site inspection reports. 2. Client Technical Coordination Serve as the primary technical liaison during pre-bid meetings and technical discussions with client engineers/consultants. Clarify tender specifications, scope gaps, and technical queries with clients. Build strong technical relationships with client project management teams to ensure alignment on expectations. 3. On-Ground Site Execution & Supervision Oversee site execution for awarded tenders locally across the Indore–Pithampur–Dewas industrial corridor as well as key outstation project sites when required. Ensure execution complies strictly with tender technical specifications, quality standards, safety guidelines, and project timelines. Resolve on-site engineering challenges and coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and client site engineers. 4. Reporting & Compliance Prepare site survey reports, site feasibility studies, and progress updates for upper management. Monitor project milestones, material requirements, and quality audits at execution sites. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E. / B.Tech) or Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering or related Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in technical site visits, tender technical evaluation, client coordination, and project site execution. Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel short-term to various cities across India on short notice for site surveys and client meetings, alongside regular visits across the local industrial belt (Pithampur, Dewas, Indore). Key Skills & Competenciespr Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, BOQs, and tender scope documents. Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills for interacting with client technical heads and site engineers. Practical knowledge of quality control, safety procedures, and site execution management. Problem-solving mindset with high adaptability to field conditions and traveling requirements. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and relevant CAD/Project Management software.
