Procurement Engineer

Job Description

Redporch Nest Pvt. Ltd. is urgently looking for a skilled and motivated Procurement Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction material procurement, vendor management, price negotiation, and purchase coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Source and procure construction materials as per project requirements.

Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Obtain and compare quotations to ensure competitive pricing.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.

Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records.

Coordinate with site engineers and project managers regarding material requirements.

Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.

Monitor material quality, availability, and inventory.

Verify supplier invoices and coordinate with the accounts department.

Qualifications

Educational Qualification

B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma / ITI in Civil Engineering.

Experience

2–4 years in procurement, preferably in the construction industry.

Good knowledge of construction materials and purchasing procedures.

Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and procurement documentation.

Immediate joiners will be preferred.
