Key Responsibilities

Conduct consultations and assess patients for hair loss, scalp conditions, and suitability for hair transplantation.

Evaluate donor and recipient areas and develop individualized treatment plans.

Perform hair transplant procedures using Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) techniques, as appropriately trained and authorized.

Design natural-looking hairlines based on facial features, age, and patient expectations.

Supervise graft extraction, sorting, preservation, and implantation to maintain graft viability.

Perform or supervise local anesthesia administration and ensure appropriate patient monitoring.

Manage preoperative assessments, informed consent, postoperative care, and follow-up consultations.

Identify and manage complications, including infection, bleeding, poor graft growth, and scarring.

Counsel patients regarding treatment outcomes, limitations, recovery time, and realistic expectations.

Coordinate with hair transplant technicians, nurses, anesthesiology staff, and other clinical team members.

Maintain accurate medical records and comply with infection control protocols and applicable medical regulations.

Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement, and ongoing professional training.

Qualifications and Experience

MBBS degree from a recognized medical institution.

Recognized postgraduate qualification in Plastic Surgery, such as MCh or DNB in Plastic Surgery, as applicable.

Valid medical registration and appropriate authorization to practice.

Experience in hair transplantation and hair restoration procedures preferred.

Knowledge of FUE, FUT, scalp anatomy, donor management, and graft survival principles.

Experience managing surgical complications and postoperative patient care.

Required Skills

Strong surgical skills and attention to detail.

Good understanding of hair loss patterns and scalp conditions.

Pay

₹80,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
