Physiotherapist

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical abilities, functional limitations, and rehabilitation needs through appropriate clinical assessment techniques.
• Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy treatment plans based on each patient’s condition, goals, and clinical needs.
• Provide direct patient care, including evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing monitoring of patient progress.
• Deliver physiotherapy interventions using appropriate therapeutic techniques, including
• Therapeutic exercises
• Manual therapy, manipulation, and mobilization
• Hydrotherapy
• Electrotherapy and other electro-therapeutic modalities
• Mechanical therapeutic devices and equipment
• Other appropriate therapeutic agents and rehabilitation techniques
• Monitor and document patients’ progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate.
• Provide patient education regarding exercises, mobility, posture, rehabilitation, and home-based therapeutic programmes.
• Delegate appropriate duties to other clinical/support staff in accordance with their qualifications, education, competency, and experience.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date patient clinical records and administrative documentation.
• Ensure proper management and maintenance of physiotherapy and patient treatment records in accordance with organisational policies and professional standards.
• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and patient-centred care.
• Maintain a safe, professional, respectful, and patient-focused clinical environment.
