JOB OPENING – OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST
CARE FOR AUTISM FOUNDATION
Care For Autism Foundation is a parent-led initiative dedicated to supporting children with autism through structured therapies, awareness, and parent training. We focus on building independence, improving communication, strengthening developmental skills, and creating a safe, nurturing environment for every child.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist (BOT/MOT) to join our multidisciplinary team and help children with autism and other special needs develop functional abilities, improve participation in daily activities, and achieve greater independence.
- POSITION
- OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Designing individualized Occupational Therapy plans based on each child's developmental needs and therapeutic goals.
- Conducting OT sessions to improve fine motor skills, sensory processing, coordination, motor planning, and functional abilities, as appropriate.
- Integrating therapeutic activities with real-life tasks to help children apply their skills in everyday environments.
- Supporting children in developing daily living skills, self-care abilities, and greater independence.
- Working closely with Special Educators, Speech Therapists, Psychologists, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive intervention.
- Monitoring children's progress, maintaining session records, and updating intervention goals as needed.
- Guiding parents and team members on strategies to reinforce OT goals in daily routines.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT).
- Experience working with children with autism, developmental disabilities, or other special needs is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and a strong willingness to learn may also apply.
- Good understanding of child development, sensory processing, motor skills, and functional independence.
- Ability to design individualized therapy plans and connect therapeutic activities with real-life situations.
- Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Patient, compassionate, and child-friendly approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
