Interior Designer

Job Description: Prepare detailed joinery shop drawings for items such as modular kitchens, wardrobes, banquette seating, wall cladding, doors (including fire-rated), paneling, ceilings, wooden counters, shelves, TV units, vanities, headboards, loose furniture, and more. Translate architectural/engineering sketches into precise shop drawings for manufacturing. Create scale plans and layouts for foundations, interiors, and structures using CAD software. Utilize advanced AutoCAD (2D/3D) features (dynamic blocks, attributes, sheet sets, Xrefs, constraints). Review and specify material finishes, wood joints, and manufacturing details, preparing Bills of Materials accordingly. Ensure drawings align with architectural plans and manufacturing standards for wood and metal joinery. Key Skills : Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D). Knowledge of SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or similar software will be an advantage Strong technical background with the ability to convert client requirements into manufacturing details. Knowledge of materials, finishes, and joinery manufacturing processes Good understanding of architectural drawings and fabrication standards.
