Accounts Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to oversee our daily financial operations, manage general ledger data, and maintain financial reporting transparency. In this role, you will be responsible for reconciling accounts, preparing accurate financial statements, and ensuring that all transactions comply with local and international accounting standards. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of financial principles, advanced data management skills, and a proactive approach to risk management.

• Financial Reporting \& Analysis: Prepare and publish periodic financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ledger Management: Organize and manage bookkeeping records, journals, and the company's general ledger.
• Account Reconciliation: Perform regular bank, vendor, and internal department balance sheet reconciliations.
• Tax Compliance: Compute taxes owed, prepare quarterly/annual tax returns, and ensure timely filing to avoid legal and compliance risks.
• Budgeting \& Forecasting: Assist management with corporate budget preparation, track variations, and compile financial forecasts.
• Accounts Payable \& Receivable: Monitor incoming and outgoing transactions, evaluate invoice processing, and ensure smooth vendor and client cash flows.
• Auditing: Inspect system records for accuracy, identify financial or data-driven fraud risks, and cooperate with internal/external audit pipelines.
