Core Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment
- Monitor vital signs, record medical histories, and observe physical and emotional changes.
Direct Care: Administer prescribed medications, start IV lines, collect lab samples, and assist doctors during treatments and procedures.
- Care Planning
- Develop, implement, and update patient care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary medical teams.
- Patient Education
- Instruct patients and relatives on disease prevention, recovery steps, medication schedules, and lifestyle changes.
- Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date electronic or written patient charts.
