R&D Chemist - Cosmetic

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of new cosmetic products from concept through launch
• Conduct market research to identify trends and consumer needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, production, and quality assurance
• Support formulation development and testing of new products
• Prepare documentation for product formulations, specifications, and regulatory compliance
• Participate in sensory evaluations and consumer testing sessions
• Maintain accurate records of experiments and findings
• Stay updated on industry advancements and competitor products
• Aid in troubleshooting formulation issues as they arise during development processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmacy, or related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Strong interest in cosmetics formulation and product development processes
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Able to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Keen problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to challenges
• Prior experience in R\&D or internships within the cosmetics industry is a plus but not mandatory!
