Job Title: Import Executive
Location: Vatva GIDC, Ahmedabad
Experience Required: 3 – 5 Years
Educational Qualification: Any Graduate
Salary: Upto 4.2 LPA

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Import Executive to drive our global trade operations and ensure seamless international logistics management. In this role, you will oversee end-to-end import procurement, manage customs compliance, coordinate with external stakeholders, and optimize logistics workflows to ensure timely material supply.

Key Responsibilities

International Procurement: Oversee and streamline foreign purchasing activities to ensure steady supply chain operations.
Shipment Management: Manage import shipments end-to-end, maintaining oversight from departure to destination delivery.
Vessel Scheduling: Plan and monitor vessel schedules, coordinating transit timelines to avoid delays.
Customs Clearance: Manage port procedures, customs compliance, documentation processing, and clearance operations.
CHA Coordination: Work closely with Custom House Agents (CHA) to expedite cargo clearance and resolve regulatory issues.
Logistics Management: Oversee freight operations, dispatch planning, and inland transport logistics.

Required Skills & Expertise

Import Documentation: Expertise in handling bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, letters of credit, and regulatory certificates.

Shipment Tracking: Active tracking and status reporting for incoming shipments.
Customs & CHA Coordination: Knowledge of customs regulations, import tariffs, and CHA management.
Supplier Management: Strong experience in international supplier negotiation and ongoing follow-ups.
Logistics & Dispatch: Proficiency in logistics planning and material dispatch management.
