Drive the ambulance safely and transport patients during emergency and non-emergency situations.
Respond promptly to emergency calls and follow the assigned routes.
Ensure the ambulance is clean, hygienic, and ready for use at all times.
Check the ambulance's fuel, tyres, brakes, lights, and other essential equipment regularly.
Assist paramedical staff in shifting patients safely using stretchers and wheelchairs, as required.
Follow traffic rules and hospital emergency transport procedures.
Maintain ambulance trip records, patient transport details, fuel logs, and vehicle maintenance records.
Inform the concerned department immediately about vehicle breakdowns or mechanical issues.
Ensure that the ambulance is equipped with the required emergency supplies and equipment.
Maintain punctuality, discipline, and professional behaviour while on duty.
Coordinate with the Emergency Department and other hospital staff during patient transfers.
Be available for emergency duties, shifts, and other assigned responsibilities.
