Job Description

Job Description: Lab Technician – Pathology Laboratory

Key Responsibilities

Perform laboratory tests and examinations as per established SOPs.

Ensure proper transportation, storage, handling, and preservation of specimens.

Report any discrepancies or ambiguities to the Section In-Charge.

Perform quality control checks as per departmental guidelines.

Maintain laboratory documents and records accurately.

Maintain environmental and refrigerator temperature records.

Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and biomedical waste disposal as per safety guidelines.

Requirements

Qualification: B.Sc./M.Sc. in relevant field, DMLT/MLT or equivalent.

Experience: Freshers are welcome.

Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures, quality control, and specimen handling.

Attention to detail and adherence to laboratory safety protocols.
