Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and empathetic Senior Patient Care Coordinator/ Patient Care Manager with a clinical background (BDS / BPT / Allied Health Sciences) to manage patient journeys, consult conversion, and front-office clinical operations. You will act as the primary bridge between the patients, doctors, and internal administrative departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Consultation & Onboarding: Greet walk-in and Tele-calling patients, understand their queries and requirements, and explain treatment plans clearly.
- Appointment & Flow Management: Schedule OPD/Hybrid or Online consultations, manage doctor schedules, and ensure a smooth waiting-area flow.
- Treatment Follow-ups: Coordinate pre- and post-treatment follow-ups, recovery tracking, and adherence to prescribed Excimer and Phototherapy plans.
- Conversion & Counseling: Handle patient queries regarding treatment costs, and guide them through service enrollment with empathy.
- Department Coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with doctor, billing, and lab/diagnostic teams.
- Records & Reporting: Maintain digital patient records, clinic software entries, and daily operational reports.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Education: Degree in Dentistry (BDS) or Physiotherapy (BPT/MPT) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in patient care coordination, medical counseling, or healthcare front-desk management.
Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English and Hindi.
Basic computer literacy (MS Office, clinic management software/EMR).
Empathy, patience, and problem-solving abilities when dealing with patients.
