The role involves assisting customers in selecting jewellery, achieving sales targets, maintaining product knowledge, and building long-term customer relationships while ensuring the safe handling of high-value jewellery. Key Responsibilities - Assist customers in selecting gold, diamond, jadau, and precious gemstone jewellery based on their preferences and requirements. - Achieve individual sales targets through effective upselling and cross-selling. - Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term customer relationships. - Maintain strong product knowledge, including jewellery designs, specifications, pricing, and craftsmanship. - Handle high-value jewellery responsibly and follow all stock security procedures. - Ensure proper jewellery display, store presentation, and visual merchandising standards. - Assist with billing, inventory verification, and daily store operations. - Follow up with prospective customers and maintain customer enquiry records. - Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and store security protocols. Qualifications & Skillsets Required - Graduate in any discipline; a qualification in Sales, Marketing, or Retail Management will be an advantage. - 1–4 years of experience in jewellery retail, luxury retail, premium fashion, or customer-facing sales. - Experience in gold, diamond, or precious gemstone jewellery retail will be preferred. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer-handling skills. - Basic understanding of sales processes, billing, and customer relationship management. - Ability to achieve sales targets and work effectively in a team. Personal Attributes - Well-groomed, presentable, and professional personality. - Customer-centric approach with an interest in luxury retail. - Strong communication and relationship-building skills. - High integrity and responsibility while handling valuable jewellery. - Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a target-oriented mindset. - Ability to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and festive occasions, as required.
