Operations Executive (Logistics)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day freight forwarding and logistics operations.
• Coordinate with customers, transporters, shipping lines, airlines, CHA/customs agents, warehouses, and other service providers.
• Handle import/export shipment coordination and ensure timely execution.
• Arrange pickups, transportation, deliveries, and shipment dispatches.
• Prepare, verify, and maintain shipment-related documentation.
• Track shipments and provide regular updates to customers and internal teams.
• Follow up with transporters, carriers, and vendors for timely movement of cargo.
• Monitor shipment schedules and proactively identify and resolve operational delays.
• Coordinate with customers regarding shipment status, documentation, delivery requirements, and queries.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, operational reports, and MIS.
• Coordinate with the accounts team regarding freight invoices, vendor bills, and operational charges.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company processes.
• Handle customer concerns and coordinate timely resolution of operational issues.
• Support the team in maintaining service quality and achieving customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in freight forwarding, transportation, logistics, shipping, or 3PL operations.
• Good understanding of import/export and freight forwarding processes.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook/email, and basic computer applications.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Experience with ERP/TMS/WMS or freight-forwarding software will be an advantage.

Pay

₹10,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
