Article Assistant/ Paid Assistant

We are looking for an Article Assistant / Paid Assistant to join our team and gain hands-on experience across accounting, taxation, audit, and compliance assignments.

The role will involve working closely with senior team members and managers on day-to-day client assignments, while developing practical knowledge of accounting and professional services.

Role \& responsibilities

• Assist in bookkeeping and accounting activities
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
• Assist with GST, TDS and income tax related work
• Support statutory and tax audit assignments
• Assist in preparation of financial statements, schedules and working papers
• Assist with ROC and other statutory compliance work
• Perform data entry, documentation and maintenance of accounting records
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Coordinate with seniors and team members to complete assignments within timelines
• Conduct basic research and assist in resolving accounting and compliance-related queries
• Maintain proper documentation and confidentiality of client information

What We Are Looking For

• CA Intermediate / CA Foundation / B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification
• Basic understanding of accounting, taxation and auditing
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally will be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
• A responsible and proactive approach towards work
