Cutting and stitching master

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cutting and Stitching Master to join our team. The candidate will initially work at our current location in Delhi/Gurugram and must be fully open and willing to relocate to Kerala when our operations move there.

Key Responsibilities

Pattern Making & Cutting: Accurately draft patterns, measure fabrics, and execute precise cutting for various garments (Women's ethnic/western, Men's wear, or custom boutique designs).

Stitching & Finishing

Perform and oversee high-quality stitching, trial fittings, alterations, and final finishing.

Fabric Management

Calculate fabric consumption accurately to minimize wastage.

Quality Assurance

Ensure all finished garments meet exact measurements and high-quality standards.

Team Guidance

Manage and guide assistant tailors or helpers if required.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cutting Master / Master Tailor in a boutique, garment unit, or fashion house.

Relocation Willingness

Mandatory requirement to start work in Delhi/Gurugram and relocate to Kerala when requested.

Skills

Expert knowledge of fabric types, pattern drafting, measurement techniques, and garment construction.

Language

Basic Hindi or English required; knowledge of Malayalam is a plus but not mandatory.
