Cutting and stitching master
Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Cutting and Stitching Master to join our team. The candidate will initially work at our current location in Delhi/Gurugram and must be fully open and willing to relocate to Kerala when our operations move there.
Key Responsibilities
Pattern Making & Cutting: Accurately draft patterns, measure fabrics, and execute precise cutting for various garments (Women's ethnic/western, Men's wear, or custom boutique designs).
- Stitching & Finishing
- Perform and oversee high-quality stitching, trial fittings, alterations, and final finishing.
- Fabric Management
- Calculate fabric consumption accurately to minimize wastage.
- Quality Assurance
- Ensure all finished garments meet exact measurements and high-quality standards.
- Team Guidance
- Manage and guide assistant tailors or helpers if required.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Cutting Master / Master Tailor in a boutique, garment unit, or fashion house.
- Relocation Willingness
- Mandatory requirement to start work in Delhi/Gurugram and relocate to Kerala when requested.
- Skills
- Expert knowledge of fabric types, pattern drafting, measurement techniques, and garment construction.
- Language
- Basic Hindi or English required; knowledge of Malayalam is a plus but not mandatory.
