Service Engineer – Heat Pump & Water Heating Systems Job Type: Full-Time | Field-Based Experience: 3–6 Years Locations: Delhi-NCR / Chandigarh-Tricity About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Service Engineer / Service Technician with strong hands-on experience in Heat Pump systems . The candidate will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair and servicing of Heat Pump Water Heaters and related water heating systems. This is a hands-on field service role , not a desk-based support position. Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission and service Heat Pump Water Heaters at customer/dealer sites. Diagnose and resolve technical complaints independently. Handle issues related to compressor, sensors, controller, wiring, water flow and heating performance. Perform refrigerant/gas charging and replacement , leak testing, vacuuming and pressure testing. Visit customer/dealer sites for breakdowns and service complaints. Provide technical support to dealers and guide them over phone/video whenever possible. Conduct installation quality checks and ensure proper machine functioning. Maintain service reports and records of recurring technical issues. Train dealer technicians/customers on basic operation and troubleshooting when required. Travel within the assigned territory and to outstation sites whenever required. Required Skills & Experience 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Heat Pumps / Heat Pump Water Heaters is preferred. Candidates from HVAC / RAC / Refrigeration / Water Heating service backgrounds may also apply if they have strong hands-on troubleshooting experience. Must have personally performed gas/refrigerant charging and replacement . Good knowledge of refrigeration systems, compressors, pressure testing, vacuuming and leak detection. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. Good communication and customer/dealer handling skills. Comfortable with extensive field work and travel. ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, RAC or related technical field preferred. Valid driving licence and willingness to travel are preferred. Important Pure AC installation/fitting profiles, freelancers and candidates without hands-on troubleshooting/gas charging experience will not be considered.
