Staff Nurse (OT)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OT Staff Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will assist surgeons and anesthetists during surgical procedures, maintain a sterile environment, prepare operation theatres, and ensure high standards of patient care before, during, and after surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operation theatre for scheduled surgeries.
• Ensure all surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterilized and readily available.
• Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals during surgical procedures.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and surgical documentation.
• Follow infection control protocols and hospital safety standards.
• Handle and account for surgical instruments, sponges, and supplies.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate nursing care.
• Coordinate with nursing staff, surgeons, and support departments for smooth OT operations.

Requirements

• B.Sc Nursing or GNM qualification.
• Valid Nursing Council registration.
• Knowledge of OT procedures, sterilization techniques, and infection control practices.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and emergency duties.
• Experience in multi-specialty OT will be an added advantage.

Pay

₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
