Indian Chef

Duties and Responsibilities:-

Duties

-

• Food preparation, cooking, and presentation of Indian cuisine
• Ensuring the quality of food is maintained at all times
• Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, including equipment and utensils
• Keeping track of inventory and replenishing supplies when necessary
• Assisting senior chefs in menu planning, creating and executing dishes
• Following all health and safety measures in the kitchen
• Assisting in plating and presentation of food for different events.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to and following the instructions of senior chefs
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and workplace conduct
• Upholding all policies, procedures and standards set by the kitchen management
• Acting professionally at all times, including when handling food and interacting with colleagues, customers, and vendors.

Skills

-

• Basic knowledge of Indian cuisine and preparation techniques
• Good communication and listening skills to follow instructions from senior chefs

3. Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with good time-management skills
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
