Job Title: AccountantJob Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage financial records, oversee transactions, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and experience in handling accounts within a fast-paced environment like media, events, or entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations including entries, invoicing, and expense tracking
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
• Handle accounts payable \& receivable
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage GST, TDS filings, and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in budgeting and financial planning
• Coordinate with internal teams for payments, vendor management, and billing
• Maintain documentation for audits and financial reviews

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in accounting (experience in media/events industry is a plus)
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar)
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation
• Good understanding of financial reporting and bookkeeping
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with event or entertainment companies
• Knowledge of budgeting for events or productions
• Familiarity with vendor payments and artist financial handling
