Senior Shipping & Chartering Manager*

The candidate must be fluent in English and have at least five years of experience in ocean shipping, particularly in communicating and negotiating with shipowners. The primary responsibility is to negotiate competitive and workable rates for container shipments and bulk vessel charters, either independently Should HAVE CONTACT OF SHip OWNERS /VESSEL CHARTERERS WORLD WIDE AND SHOULD KNOW THEM WELL. - Must have established contacts and strong working relationships with vessel owners and ship charterers worldwide. - Must be capable of independently sourcing vessels, negotiating charter rates, and handling vessel fixing from initial inquiry to final agreement. - Should have a strong network in the international shipping and chartering market. - Must be able to independently negotiate competitive and commercially workable rates without day-to-day supervision. - Proven experience in vessel fixing and direct negotiations with shipowners and charterers is mandatory.
