Role Overview

The Senior Content Marketing Manager will own AiSensy’s content function end to end. This person should have experience leading teams of video editors, social media executives, writers, producers, or creative resources, and should have previously built content systems that drove meaningful traffic, strong audience growth, and business impact.

This is not a role for someone who only understands content writing or social posting. This role is for someone who can drive strategy, hire strong people, manage content operations, improve output quality, increase content velocity, and deliver measurable channel growth.

The ideal candidate should know how to convert founder time, podcasts, customer conversations, product updates, events, and market insights into a consistent and scalable content engine.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy and Business Alignment

Own the overall content strategy and execution roadmap for AiSensy across key channels

Build content plans across founder-led content, brand content, educational content, podcast content, product content, event content, recruitment branding, and growth content

Align content priorities with business goals such as awareness, trust, traffic, inbound demand, customer education, and founder positioning

Decide what content should be created, for which audience, on which platform, and with what intended outcome

Team Leadership

Lead and manage a team that may include video editors, social media executives, writers, producers, designers, presenters, freelancers, or agency partners

Set clear goals, timelines, quality standards, and ownership across the content team

Build a culture of speed, accountability, and strong creative discipline

Ensure the content function runs with structure and execution rigor, not ad hoc coordination

High-Volume Content Execution

Build systems that enable large quantities of content to be produced in less time without compromising quality

Create workflows for converting one core asset such as a podcast, founder conversation, customer story, webinar, or event into multiple short-form and long-form pieces

Ensure the team consistently delivers reels, shorts, videos, graphics, posts, clips, and other content assets on time

Improve content velocity through clear processes, better planning, templates, SOPs, and review systems

Audience Growth and Performance

Own content outcomes and not just content production

Drive meaningful growth in followers, reach, views, engagement, watch time, traffic, and overall content performance across channels

Understand how to package and distribute content effectively across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and founder-led channels

Review analytics regularly and improve future output based on performance data

Identify which content formats, topics, hooks, and series are performing and scale them further

Hiring and Team Building

Hire strong talent across content roles such as editors, social media executives, writers, producers, and creative specialists

Identify whether work should be built in-house, outsourced, or managed through freelance support

Build team structure, role clarity, and clear accountability for delivery

Train, coach, and elevate the team over time to improve both output quality and speed

Content Planning and Publishing Discipline

Own monthly, weekly, and daily content calendars

Ensure every asset has a clear brief, audience, hook, objective, and deadline

Maintain visibility into the content pipeline from ideation to production to publish

Ensure strong consistency and discipline in publishing across all major channels

Work closely with founders and internal teams to identify and convert content opportunities into high-quality output

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with founders, marketing, product, design, sales, and other teams to identify content opportunities

Translate business priorities, launches, wins, events, and insights into compelling content narratives

Ensure the content function supports both brand building and business growth

Candidate Profile

5 to 8+ years of experience in content, social media, media, content marketing, creator ecosystems, or brand content

Has led teams of video editors, social media managers or executives, writers, producers, and other content operators

Has demonstrably helped grow channels, traffic, followers, engagement, or content-led visibility in a meaningful way

Has experience building repeatable, high-output content systems

Strong understanding of content packaging, distribution, virality, storytelling, and platform-native formats

Knows how to hire strong content talent and drive team performance

Comfortable working in a high-speed startup environment with high ownership

Strong judgment on content quality, prioritization, and execution speed

Preferred Background

Experience in a startup, creator-led brand, media company, D2C brand, or SaaS/growth-focused company

Experience working on founder-led content or business-led channels

Strong understanding of short-form video, long-form repurposing, and multi-channel distribution

Has managed in-house content teams with a strong delivery and performance mandate
