Job Description - Nursing Superintendent

• Overall in-charge of nursing services and nursing staff.
• Implement hospital policies related to nursing services.
• Assist in nursing staff recruitment and resource planning.
• Conduct regular hospital rounds to ensure quality patient care.
• Prepare budgets for nursing services.
• Guide, counsel, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
• Investigate complaints related to nursing care and take corrective action.
• Attend hospital meetings and coordinate with clinical heads.
• Maintain good relations with patients and hospital staff.
• Promote nursing research and conduct training on universal precautions.
• Recommend staff promotions and higher education opportunities.
