Account Executive

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities and accounting entries.
• Record and maintain Sales Entries, Purchase Entries, Receipt Entries, Payment Entries, Journal Entries and other transactions in Tally.
• Maintain and update books of accounts and financial records.
• Prepare and manage invoices, receipts, payments and related documentation.
• Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and reconcile bank transactions with books of accounts.
• Reconcile customer and vendor accounts and identify discrepancies.
• Maintain proper records of accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with monthly closing and other routine accounting activities.
• Ensure accounting entries and supporting documents are accurate and properly maintained.
• Coordinate with internal teams regarding invoices, payments and other accounting-related requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar accounting role.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally.
• Hands-on experience in making Sales, Purchase, Receipt, Payment and Journal entries in Tally.
• Good understanding of BRS and account reconciliation.
• Good knowledge of day-to-day accounting processes.
• Ability to maintain books of accounts accurately.
• Good understanding of invoices, payments, receipts and ledger management.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Relevant qualification in Commerce/Accounting will be preferred.
