Purchase( Mechanical )

Handle procurement of mechanical equipment, spare parts, and engineering materials for plant operations.

Purchase items such as pumps, motors, valves, pipes, fittings, bearings, compressors, gearboxes, and mechanical seals.

Coordinate with vendors for quotations, price negotiations, and timely material delivery.

Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with new and existing suppliers.

Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per company requirements.

Compare quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.

Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, and Stores departments to understand material requirements.

Ensure timely procurement of breakdown and preventive maintenance materials.

Maintain vendor databases, purchase records, and procurement documentation.

Follow up on pending orders, delivery schedules, and material quality issues.

Experience - From API Background 5-8 years of experience
