About this job
- Handle daily cash receipts and payments at the branch.
- Receive cash from customers and issue proper receipts.
- Process cash withdrawals and disbursements as per company policies.
- Maintain daily cash books and transaction records.
- Verify cash balances and perform daily cash reconciliation.
- Ensure proper handling, counting and safekeeping of cash.
- Coordinate with the Branch Manager and Accounts Department for cash-related activities.
- Deposit excess cash into the designated bank account as per company guidelines.
- Maintain proper documentation of all cash transactions.
- Prepare daily cash reports and submit them to the concerned department.
- Ensure accuracy and transparency in all financial transactions.
- Follow company policies and internal control procedures.
