Experience

2–4 years in Chinese cuisine, preferably in a hotel or reputed restaurant.

Job Summary

Responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality Chinese dishes while maintaining food quality, consistency, hygiene, and kitchen standards in accordance with hotel procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Chinese dishes, including starters, soups, noodles, rice, sauces, and main courses.
• Assist in daily kitchen operations, mise en place, and food preparation.
• Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, presentation, and quality of all dishes.
• Maintain proper food storage, stock rotation, and adherence to FIFO procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
• Monitor ingredient usage and minimize food wastage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.
• Coordinate with senior chefs and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service operations.
• Follow standard recipes, portion controls, and hotel operating procedures.
• Assist in menu preparation, new dish trials, and special food requirements as directed by senior chefs.

Qualifications \& Skills

• Diploma / Certificate in Culinary Arts or relevant culinary qualification preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience in Chinese cuisine.
• Good knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, sauces, and wok handling.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork, time management, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards is essential.

₹21,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
