Job Summary

Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the hotel, ensuring guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained while providing courteous and professional service to guests.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and other assigned areas.

Make beds, change linen, replace towels, and replenish guest room amenities.

Ensure proper cleaning and sanitisation of bathrooms and other facilities.

Handle housekeeping equipment and cleaning chemicals safely.

Report maintenance issues, damages, and lost-and-found items to the supervisor.

Respond promptly and politely to guest requests and complaints.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of housekeeping pantries and storage areas.

Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and housekeeping SOPs.

Coordinate with the Front Office and Maintenance departments whenever required.

Ensure guest privacy and confidentiality at all times.

Assist in deep cleaning and special cleaning activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Minimum qualification

SSLC / Plus Two preferred.

Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel is preferred.

Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and housekeeping standards.

Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Good grooming, personal hygiene, and professional behaviour.

Hardworking, disciplined, and customer-service oriented.

Pay

₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
