Housekeeping Supervisor

A hospital in Hyderabad is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee housekeeping activities and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across hospital premises. Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply. The selected candidate will support housekeeping operations, coordinate staff activities, and ensure compliance with hospital hygiene and infection-control standards.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in housekeeping, facility management, or a related field preferred.
• Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
• Previous experience in hospital housekeeping or facility management is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation practices, and infection-control protocols.
• Good communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to supervise housekeeping staff and coordinate daily tasks.
• Willingness to work in shifts as required by the hospital.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily housekeeping activities across hospital wards, patient rooms, corridors, waiting areas, and other designated spaces.
• Coordinate housekeeping staff and allocate duties according to operational requirements.
• Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards throughout the hospital.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning materials, disinfectants, and housekeeping equipment.
• Follow hospital infection-control protocols and biomedical waste segregation procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and address housekeeping-related issues promptly.
• Maintain cleaning schedules, inspection checklists, and housekeeping records.
• Monitor housekeeping supplies and coordinate replenishment when required.
• Guide staff on cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and workplace safety.
• Coordinate with hospital administration and infection-control teams to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Pay

₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
