About Tekfoods

Tekfoods is a rapidly growing Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company based in Kolkata, specializing in the production, packaging, and distribution of high-quality food products and packaged snacks. We are currently looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, and results-driven Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehousing and inventory operations, ensuring seamless supply chain flow from production to dispatch.

Key Responsibilities

• Operations Management: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, sorting, inventory storage, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO for food safety compliance), and timely dispatch of finished FMCG goods.
• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular stock audits, and minimize shrinkage, wastage, or damage of packaged food products.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff, forklift operators, and dispatch teams to ensure high productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
• Logistics \& Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, route planning, and on-time delivery to distributors and retail channels.
• Safety \& Compliance: Enforce strict health, safety, and hygiene standards within the warehouse facility, aligning with industry regulations for food and snack storage.
• System \& Reporting: Maintain digital logs and ERP records for incoming and outgoing stock, generating daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports for management review.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Logistics Manager, or Senior Inventory Controller, preferably within the FMCG, food processing, or packaged foods industry only.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Skills
• Strong proficiency in inventory management software and warehouse ERP systems.
• In-depth knowledge of warehouse safety guidelines, FMCG storage norms, and stock control methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
