South indian cook

The Commi – II (South Indian) is responsible for assisting in the preparation and cooking of South Indian dishes while maintaining quality, hygiene, and kitchen standards. The role involves supporting senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and ensuring timely food preparation.

Responsibilities ;

• Prepare and cook South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, sambar, chutneys, and other traditional items.
• Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation standards.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
• Monitor stock levels and inform the supervisor about ingredient requirements.
• Support the team during breakfast, lunch, and buffet service.
• Follow standard recipes and portion control.

Skills to Have

• Good knowledge of South Indian cuisine preparation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen.
