Job Purpose To supervise, manage, and execute civil construction activities at project sites while ensuring quality standards, timely completion, proper manpower utilization, material management, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications. 2. Key Roles & Responsibilities A. Site Execution & Supervision Supervise daily civil construction activities at project sites. Execute RCC, PCC, foundation, column, beam, slab, masonry, plastering, and shuttering works. Monitor road construction, piling, tower foundation, boundary wall, and other infrastructure works. Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site supervisors. B. Quality Control Ensure the quality of construction materials and workmanship. Monitor concrete mixing, reinforcement binding, shuttering, and casting activities. Arrange and coordinate cement, steel, and concrete testing with approved laboratories. Ensure compliance with client requirements and engineering standards. Identify and rectify construction defects. C. Manpower & Material Management Plan and manage daily labour requirements. Monitor contractor and labour productivity. Ensure the availability of cement, steel, aggregates, sand, and other construction materials. Maintain daily material consumption and stock records. Avoid material wastage and unnecessary project expenses. D. Project Planning & Reporting Prepare daily work progress reports. Monitor project timelines and ensure completion within scheduled deadlines. Identify execution delays and take corrective action. Submit daily site photographs and progress updates to the Head Office. Maintain site measurement books (MB), BOQ records, and daily attendance. E. Safety & Compliance Ensure proper implementation of site safety measures. Ensure workers use PPE and follow safety guidelines. Maintain housekeeping and safe working conditions. Report site incidents, risks, and unsafe practices immediately. F. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors. Attend site inspections and technical meetings. Obtain necessary approvals before major construction activities. Report site-related issues and requirements to the Head Office. 3. Educational QualificationDiploma or B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering. Relevant technical knowledge of civil construction and infrastructure projects. 4. ExperienceMinimum 2–5 years of experience in civil construction. Experience in RCC work, foundation, road construction, piling, and infrastructure projects will be preferred. Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered for junior positions. 5. Required SkillsKnowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel. Understanding of civil drawings, BOQ, and estimation. Knowledge of RCC, reinforcement, shuttering, and concrete work. Manpower and subcontractor management. Strong site supervision and problem-solving skills. Good communication and reporting skills. Ability to work independently at project locations. 6. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely completion of assigned project activities. Quality of construction and minimum rework. Effective manpower utilization. Proper material management and minimum wastage. Daily reporting and documentation. Compliance with safety standards. Coordination with vendors and subcontractors. 7. Additional RequirementsWillingness to travel and work at different project locations. Ability to manage multiple site activities. Must be disciplined, responsible, and result-oriented. Must be capable of independently handling site execution and reporting to the Head Office. 8. Job Objective To ensure smooth execution of all assigned civil construction projects with proper planning, quality control, cost management, manpower coordination, and timely project completion.
