Senior Manager – Digital Product & Engagement

Job Overview

This is a senior leadership role at the Evernorth Hyderabad Office and sits within the Data, Digital and AI Portfolio for The Cigna Group. The role is responsible for building and scaling Digital Product and Engagement capabilities in Hyderabad while partnering closely with US-based Product, Customer Engagement, and Technology leaders to deliver high-impact digital, engagement, data, and AI-enabled products.

The successful candidate will lead teams spanning Product Management and Engagement Delivery, driving strategy, organizational effectiveness, execution, and business outcomes across platform, data, customer engagement, personalization, campaign, digital experience, and AI product portfolios.

This role combines organizational leadership with hands-on product and engagement leadership. While accountable for developing talent, scaling operating models, and driving portfolio outcomes, the leader must also be comfortable directly leading strategic initiatives, influencing executive stakeholders, shaping product direction, and stepping into complex or ambiguous business problems when needed.

The ideal candidate is a strategic digital leader who can operate effectively across strategy, discovery, execution, and organizational leadership while building strong teams, strong partnerships, and measurable business outcomes

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Digital Leadership

• Partner closely with US-based Product, Engineering, Analytics, Experience, and Digital Engagement leaders to translate enterprise priorities into product strategy, roadmaps, investment decisions, and measurable business outcomes.
• Drive implementation and adherence to product strategy across platform, data, customer engagement, personalization, digital experience, campaign, and AI-enabled product portfolios.
• Act as a strategic extension of US Product leadership, providing thought leadership on priorities, sequencing, tradeoffs, investments, and organizational capabilities.
• Directly lead select high-priority initiatives and complex cross-functional efforts that require senior product leadership and executive alignment.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on product direction, customer needs, organizational priorities, and business value realization.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key US-based and Hyderabad-based stakeholders, fostering trust, collaboration, alignment, and shared accountability across Product Management, Engagement Delivery, Engineering, Analytics, Experience, and Business teams.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio roadmap that provides transparency into priorities, dependencies, investment areas, risks, and expected outcomes while ensuring alignment with enterprise and DDAI strategic objectives.

Product Management & Engagement Delivery Leadership

• Lead and develop teams across digital (product and engagement), ensuring strong alignment between product strategy, planning, execution, and business outcomes.
• Establish clear operating models, roles, decision rights, and accountability across digital functions.
• Ensure digital teams operate as an integrated organization that enables effective planning, prioritization, execution, stakeholder management, and outcome delivery.
• Build leadership depth across both disciplines through coaching, succession planning, organizational development, and talent management.
• Create a high-performing culture focused on customer value, ownership, accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

Organizational Leadership

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers and Engagement Delivery experts while establishing scalable operating models, standards, and career paths aligned with global digital practices.
• Mentor digital leaders and individual contributors, strengthening capabilities in strategy, discovery, roadmap planning, stakeholder management, and execution.
• Position Hyderabad as a trusted strategic product and engagement partner that contributes to enterprise direction and outcomes, not simply execution.
