Mobile Phone Sales Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Engagement: Warmly greet walk-in customers, assess their usage needs (budget, camera, battery, performance), and recommend suitable smartphone models and brands.
• Product Demonstrations: Live-demonstrate smartphone features, OS functionalities, camera quality, and accessories (earbuds, chargers, covers, screen guards).
• Sales \& Upselling: Convert walk-in inquiries into confirmed sales, push profitable add-ons/accessories, and achieve monthly unit and revenue targets.
• Financing \& Exchanges: Assist customers with EMI/finance applications, credit approvals, and old-phone exchange valuations according to company policy.
• Value-Added Services: Help customers with SIM card activations, initial device setup, data transfers, and attaching protection plans.
• Store Upkeep: Keep display units charged, clean, security-tagged, and organized throughout the shift, while monitoring stock levels.
• Billing \& Records: Handle point-of-sale (POS) billing accurately and maintain basic logs of daily sales and customer inquiries.

Key Result Areas (KRAs) \& KPIs

• Smartphone Unit \& Value Sales: Measured by monthly quota achievement.
• Accessory Attach Rate: Percentage of device sales that include paired accessories or protection plans.
• Finance / EMI Conversion: Share of eligible buyers converted into finance or EMI schemes.
• Walk-in Conversion Rate: Percentage of store visitors converted into paying customers.
• Display Maintenance: 100% compliance on clean, working, and secure live demo handsets.

Qualifications \& Requirements

• Education: 12th Pass (Higher Secondary) or Graduation preferred.
• Experience: 1 to 3 years of retail sales experience, ideally within mobile phones, consumer electronics, or gadget showrooms.
• Required Skills
• Strong working knowledge of current smartphone brands, specs, and mobile operating systems.
• Consultative and customer-friendly communication style (proficiency in local languages like Bengali and Hindi is essential).
• Basic computer and POS billing literacy.
• Target-driven mindset with patience and problem-solving skills.

Pay

₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

• Park Street, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
