Uppar & Sons Engineers & Contractors Project: Pipeline Works / Infrastructure Projects Job Location: Project Site Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering Experience: 2–5 Years Language: Kannada Mandatory Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Civil Pipeline Engineer to manage and supervise pipeline construction activities at project sites. The candidate should have hands-on experience in pipeline laying, execution, site supervision, quality control and coordination with project teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Supervise and monitor day-to-day pipeline construction and laying activities. 2. Handle pipeline alignment, excavation, trenching, bedding and pipe-laying works. 3. Ensure proper installation, jointing, alignment and laying of pipelines as per approved drawings and specifications. 4. Monitor backfilling, compaction and reinstatement activities. 5. Coordinate with surveyors for pipeline alignment, levels and measurements. 6. Ensure work execution as per project drawings, BOQ and technical specifications. 7. Monitor manpower, machinery and material requirements at the site. 8. Maintain daily progress reports, site measurements and work records. 9. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, supervisors and client representatives. 10. Ensure quality control and safety standards are followed during pipeline execution. 11. Identify site issues and coordinate with the project team for timely resolution. 12. Assist in preparing RA bills, quantity measurements and other project documentation. Required Skills - Hands-on experience in pipeline construction and execution. - Knowledge of pipeline laying, excavation, trenching and backfilling. - Ability to read and understand civil drawings. - Knowledge of site measurements and quantity calculations. - Experience in manpower and site management. - Good coordination and communication skills. - Kannada language proficiency is mandatory. Preferred candidates: Those with practical experience in water supply pipelines, irrigation pipelines, underground pipelines and infrastructure pipeline projects.
