Job description

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at Mohan Kumar & Co., Chartered Accountants, Aluva. The ideal candidate should have a minimum one year of experience in accounting, with mandatory working knowledge of Zoho Books and Tally. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting activities and maintaining accurate financial records. Preference will be given to candidates residing in Aluva and nearby locations.

Job Responsibilities

Handle day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.

Manage accounting entries and transactions using Zoho Books and Tally.

Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy in financial records.

Assist with bookkeeping and other accounting-related tasks.

Support the team in routine accounting operations.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in accounting.

Knowledge of Zoho Books and Tally is mandatory.

Good understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel.

Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Educational Qualification

• B.Com in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Candidates with an M.Com qualification will also be preferred.

Experience

Minimum 1 year in accounting.

Working knowledge of Zoho Books and Tally.

• Candidates residing in Aluva and nearby locations will be given preference.
• Candidates who can join immediately will be preferred.
