Chef de Partie (CDP) – All-Rounder

Experience

3–6 years in Hotel / Restaurant / Café Kitchen

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of Indian, Continental, Chinese, and café-style dishes.
• Handle the assigned kitchen section independently during daily operations.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality, portion size, and presentation.
• Manage mise en place and ensure all ingredients are ready for service.
• Follow standard recipes and maintain food quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with Sous Chef, Head Chef, and other kitchen team members.
• Monitor stock levels, proper storage, FIFO, and minimize food wastage.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.
• Handle kitchen equipment properly and report maintenance issues.
• Manage food preparation during peak hours and high-volume service.
• Guide and support Commis Chefs and junior kitchen staff.
• Assist with menu preparation, new dishes, and daily kitchen requirements.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of multiple cuisines.
• Good cooking, plating, and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle a kitchen section independently.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and storage practices.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Professional and disciplined approach to kitchen operations.

Pay

₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
