Cashier

A restaurant cashier manages customer transactions, processes payments (cash, card, UPI), and provides excellent customer service, often serving as the final point of contact. Responsibilities include operating Point of Sale (POS) systems, reconciling cash drawers, taking orders, and maintaining a clean, organized register area.

Key Responsibilities

Transaction Processing

Accurately handling cash, credit cards, and electronic payments while issuing receipts.

Order Management

Taking food/beverage orders for dine-in, takeout, or delivery, ensuring accuracy.

Customer Service

Greeting guests warmly, answering questions, handling complaints, and resolving issues promptly.

POS System Operation

Utilizing the POS system to calculate bills, apply discounts/coupons, and process refunds or void transactions.

Cash Handling

Balancing the cash drawer at the start and end of shifts, ensuring accurate reporting of income.

Maintenance

Keeping the front counter, menu displays, and register area clean and stocked.

Support

Assisting service or kitchen staff with tasks during peak hours.

Pay

₹16,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
