Restaurant Captain

Supervise and coordinate the service team during operations. Ensure proper table setup, guest service, and timely order execution. Take orders accurately and ensure special requests are communicated to the kitchen. Monitor food quality, presentation, and service timing. Handle guest queries, complaints, and feedback professionally. Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, grooming, and service standards are maintained. Monitor table status and coordinate with the kitchen and stewarding team. Conduct pre-shift briefings and allocate staff sections. Check billing, order accuracy, and payment processes. Monitor stock of service items and report shortages. Train and guide junior service staff. Ensure opening, shift-change, and closing checklists are completed. Report operational issues and daily performance to the Restaurant Manager.
