Emergency staff nurse

Key Responsibilities

• Provide immediate nursing care to patients arriving in the Emergency Department.
• Perform initial patient assessment and monitor vital signs.
• Assist doctors during emergency procedures, resuscitation and other critical interventions.
• Handle emergency cases including trauma, cardiac, respiratory and other acute conditions.
• Maintain and monitor IV lines, medications, oxygen therapy and other prescribed treatments.
• Assist in CPR and Code Blue/emergency response as required.
• Prepare and maintain emergency equipment, crash cart and essential supplies.
• Administer medications and treatments as per doctor's orders and hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Ensure proper patient handover between shifts.
• Coordinate with RMO, consultants, laboratory, radiology, ICU and other departments.
• Maintain infection prevention and control practices.
• Follow hospital policies, patient safety standards and nursing protocols.
• Provide clear communication and emotional support to patients and attendants.
• Ensure cleanliness, readiness and availability of emergency nursing equipment and supplies.

Pay

₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
