SEO & SMM Executive Company: AI Digital Innovation Location: Kolkata / Hybrid or On-site as applicable Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 1–3 Years preferred Salary: ₹18,000 per month Department: Digital Marketing About AI Digital Innovation AI Digital Innovation helps businesses grow through websites, SEO, social media marketing, automation and digital solutions. We are looking for a hands-on SEO & SMM Executive who can independently manage day-to-day SEO and social media activities for multiple client accounts and contribute to measurable business growth. Key Responsibilities SEO - Perform keyword research and identify ranking opportunities. - Conduct on-page SEO including titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking and content optimization. - Implement basic technical SEO improvements and identify technical issues. - Plan and execute monthly SEO activities for client websites. - Perform competitor and keyword analysis. - Create SEO-friendly content briefs and blog topic plans. - Optimize existing website pages and blog content. - Monitor keyword rankings, organic traffic and other important SEO metrics. - Work on Google Business Profile (GMB) optimization and local SEO. - Identify opportunities to improve local search visibility. - Monitor backlinks and perform basic off-page SEO activities. - Use tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Google Business Profile and SEO tools. Social Media Marketing - Manage social media accounts of clients. - Create monthly social media content calendars. - Plan and publish posts, creatives, reels and other social media content. - Write captions and relevant hashtags. - Coordinate with the design/video team for required creatives and reels. - Maintain consistent brand communication across social platforms. - Monitor engagement, reach, followers and other relevant metrics. - Research trends and identify suitable content opportunities. - Support basic social media growth and engagement strategies. Reporting & Client Management - Maintain proper records of SEO and SMM activities. - Prepare monthly performance reports. - Track KPIs and identify areas requiring improvement. - Coordinate with the operations and development teams when required. - Understand client requirements and execute marketing activities according to the approved strategy. - Report issues, delays and performance concerns to the management. Expected Skills - Good practical knowledge of SEO and Social Media Marketing. - Understanding of Google Search Console and Google Analytics. - Knowledge of Google Business Profile/local SEO. - Understanding of keyword research and competitor analysis. - Basic understanding of technical SEO. - Good content writing and proofreading skills. - Understanding of Facebook/Instagram and other major social media platforms. - Ability to analyze marketing data and make decisions based on performance. - Good communication and time-management skills. - Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. - Willingness to learn AI-based marketing and automation tools. Important Requirement This is a hands-on execution role. We are not looking for someone who only knows how to create posts or generate AI content. The candidate should be capable of planning, executing, monitoring and improving SEO & SMM campaigns based on actual data and business objectives. Performance Expectations The selected candidate will be expected to: - Follow a structured weekly marketing routine. - Complete assigned SEO and SMM activities within deadlines. - Maintain proper documentation of work. - Monitor campaign performance regularly. - Identify problems instead of waiting for instructions. - Continuously improve strategies based on data. - Manage multiple client projects efficiently. Preferred Qualifications - Graduate in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, IT or a related field. - Google/HubSpot or other relevant digital marketing certifications are an advantage. - Previous experience working with a digital marketing agency is preferred.
